在大学文艺汇演，徐丽跳的花鼓独舞引起了同学陈思齐的注意 ，临近毕业 ，打听到徐丽毕业回家乡的决定后，陈思齐在同学的建议下，申请毕业后去徐丽家乡做一名大学生村官。 徐丽毕业后回到家乡后积极开展大学生创业 ，陈思齐来到村支部报道 ，村支书和村长对他表示出了极大的关心和照顾。从小生活优越的他对于环境的艰苦超出了自己的预想。这让陈思齐心中打定主意尽快搞定徐丽离开这个鬼地方 。 陈思齐在村支书的指导下，帮助徐丽慢慢在村里打开了局面 ，而思齐也渐渐感受到乡村穷人们和孩子们的生活条件需要有人来为他们创造一条致富的道路，陈思齐在亲友的支持下，留在农村，帮助徐丽一起带动大家致富，最终二人，喜结良缘，住进了他们为村里新建的房屋里。
