正值青春年华的美丽少女唐娜?柯派尔（Brittany Snow 布里坦妮?斯诺 饰）却拥有一段悲伤恐怖的过去，她曾亲眼目睹父母和弟弟被人杀害 。高中三年的快乐生活以及甜美的爱情让唐娜渐渐淡忘那段伤心往事，如今三年学业已满，盛大的毕业典礼即将召开。唐娜和好友们精心打扮，打算与男友鲍比（Scott Porter 斯考特?波特 饰）迎接那华丽和梦幻夜晚。
