故事发生在80年代 ，从四年级开始就是挚友的艾比与格雷琴，对于超自然事物有着高度重合的爱好。平静祥和的友谊却在一次裸泳事件后发生了改变 ，格雷琴开始变得喜怒无常。有格雷琴在的地方 ，不断有怪异的事发生…… 随着奇怪的巧合和离奇的行为逐渐堆积，艾比意识到了一种可能 ：她的挚友格蕾琴的体内，住着一个恶魔。 艾比不会让任何人或任何事情挡在她和她最好的朋友之间 。在一些不太靠谱的盟友的帮助下，艾比开始寻求拯救格雷琴的办法 。 两位女孩的友谊足以打败格雷琴体内的恶魔吗 ？
