一场奇怪的风暴，使五个正在做社区服务的不良少年拥有了超能力 。凯莉（劳伦·索恰 Lauren Socha饰）会读心术，西蒙（尤恩·雷昂 Iwan Rheon 饰）可以隐形 ，科蒂斯（内森·斯图尔特-贾瑞特 Nathan Stewart-Jarrett 饰）能让时光倒流，艾丽莎（安东尼娅·托马斯 Antonia Thomas 饰）能唤起别人的欲望，而一直以为自己没有得到超能力的雷森（罗伯特·席安 Robert Sheehan 饰），在一次意外死亡后才发现自己拥有永生的能力。 第一季中五人杀死了第一任缓刑监督官 ，第二季中他们意外得知第二任缓刑监督官也死在西蒙手下 ，于是五人合力将尸体抛进湖中 。这一切被一个戴着面具的神秘人看在眼中，他究竟是何方神圣 ？这五个超能少年并没有运用超能力去改变世界，反而遇上更多奇怪的人和事，除了他们五个，还有人拥有超能力，别人的超能力使他们陷入了困境……
